Pasir Ris Parks

There are a few parks in Pasir Ris. This route is plotted around three adjoining parks only as I aimed to make it a walking route instead of cycling route. The whole length is about 10 KM. If you remove the wrong turns, it is about 9KM.

The trip starts at Sungei Api Api Park from Pasir Ris Ave 3. This path is quiet and a bit worn out.
Along the path saw some short plants that resembles bamboo trees (Bamboo Ginger).
After a short distance on Elias Road, the entrance to the Pasir Ris Park is right next to the road.
Turn left near the beach and used the cycling route to the North end of the route and turn back. The track has dead ends on both sides. While turning back, can't help noticing that the beach is protected by a chain of floats. Probably the only place in Singapore island that have the whole beach protected.
Along the way tried to catch TaiChi group activity. Unfortunately, it ended just when I tried to take a picture.
There are two identical looking bridges along the route. One of them is on top of a ram.
At the dead end of the southern part, there is a pier across the Kallang River bay. Probably a repairing pier.
Some trees have big flowers, I can't take the flower on the tree but a nice try taking one that has fallen down on the grass.
There are a number of entrance to the swamp reserve. I choose one that is between Tampines River and Costa Sands Resort as it is nearest to the PCN. It is a walk way thus had to push my bike and go on foot.
Before the entrance, there is a short bridge across the Tampines River. Looking down at the river, you can see quite bad erosion even on the cements.
Along the path there are protrusions towards the river and you can get a view of the river.
At one corner of the swamp there is a watch tower where you can climb up and get a tree top view. I don't want to leave my bike alone thus never went up.
There are plenty of crab moulds in the swamp.
The crabs are small. My Android does not have the power to zoom in. There is actually a crab on the picture s before and after this paragraph.
Along the way, there are plenty of funny sign boards telling you about the residents in the swamp.
A short length after the swamp and I am back on Pasir Ris Ave 3. There is a bicycle hut but it is not open yet.
If you come unprepared, there are maps showing where you are in the town park area.
Right in the center of the park is a fish pond. You can go fishing in the pond. I guess you must pay for it.
At the south corner of the pond, there is a stretch of palm trees that were surrounded by foot paths. I think they are not trodden on as mosses grow on the foot paths.
Making a sort of U turn, This part of the garden has a "stone and plant" theme. The nicest is one that resembles a stream path lined with stones. Unfortunately there is no water flowing.
The route ends at Pasir Ris Ave 1 near a car park exit.
