A standard camera man used to hold the camera steady by the aid of two hands and the face. That is the tripod technique. Whereas one has to look at the LCD on the android to take picture. It means that there is only two points of support. It is the reason why many of my pictures are blurred (besides the auto focus problem).
Although it does means that I must always squat down to take a picture when there is no other support available, it is still better as I can't tell if my LCD display is blurred thus no retake is possible.
